The begining of your Constellation

Some things are big and a distance away and others are much closer with a gravity of their own. As designers we work in a universe of possibilities.

Defining the boundaries of where you are now.
  • The thing (or things) from past projects or creative practice that you most strongly identified with should be presented at a two minute presentation. It should also be things your looking at now and where you want to go. e.g.  "I really connect to such and such in this project and I've been looking at such and such over the summer now I want to spend my third year doing such and such..."
  • It should really be a roadmap of where you're gonna go over the next ten months.
  • You will have five slides, saved as jpegs at a resolution of 1920px X 1080px @72dpi (16.9 aspect ratio)
  • Each slide should be accompanied by a twenty second verbal account.
  • Name the jpegs 'XXName.jpg' (XX = 01,02, 03 etc), Place these jpegs in a folder named 'Your_Name'
  • Bring the stills on a USB stick. Double/triple check it works!
  • Download the accompanying 'Presentation Sheet', and insert your five images. Add a transcript of what you plan to say (this does not have to be exact verbatim) next to the relevant image. Use this file in Illustrator or place in Indesign.
  • Make three copies of this sheet for Tim, Dan and Ed. Hand this sheet to us as you get up to present!
Room Number to be published in due course.
9.30am start, please arrive before, and get settled.
